Yavneh Foundation Fund

Yavneh Foundation Fund is the school’s primary annual fundraising mechanism for operating expenses and school-related endeavors. Proceeds from the Annual Fund are used to enhance Yavneh’s program and curricula in a continuing effort to meet the evolving needs of the school’s students. Aaron Zachary Gruen Endowment Fund

The Aaron Zachary Gruen Endowment Fund of Yavneh Academy of Dallas was created in 2001 by Dallas philanthropists Ronald (z"l) and Ethel Gruen. The fund is named in honor of their grandson Aaron Gruen (z"l), who died of lymphoma just before he was to enter the ninth grade at Yavneh Academy.

The Gruens, who are long time active financial supporters of Jewish education, focus their support on schools that emphasize traditional Jewish learning and also give equal weight to general studies. Interest income from the fund supports scholarships, teacher salaries, and continuing professional development to assist Yavneh Academy's teachers in staying abreast of current educational issues and teaching techniques.

To make a gift to the Aaron Zachary Gruen Endowment Fund, please mail a check made payable to the Aaron Zachary Gruen Endowment Fund to Akiba Yavneh Academy, 12324 Merit Drive, Dallas, TX  75230.
