MARGOT ROSENBERG PULITZER ENDOWMENT FUND

The Margot Rosenberg Pulitzer Endowment Fund of Yavneh Academy of Dallas was created in January of 2003 by Dallas philanthropists Marcus and Ann Rosenberg.  The fund is named in honor of their daughter, Margot, who died of breast cancer at the age of 40 in 2002.

Margot Rosenberg Pulitzer was a member of the Board of Directors of Akiba Academy and president of the Congregation Shaare Tefillah Sisterhood. Her daughter, Jessica, is a 2004 graduate of Yavneh Academy, and her son, Samuel, presently attends the school.

The Rosenbergs created the fund as part of a larger effort to help preserve Modern Orthodoxy in Dallas. The Rosenbergs originally endowed this fund with $2 million. Interest is used for operating and other school expenses.
