AARON ZACHARY GRUEN ENDOWMENT FUND

The Aaron Zachary Gruen Endowment Fund of Yavneh Academy of Dallas was created in 2001, by Dallas philanthropists Ronald and Ethel Gruen. The fund is named in honor of their grandson, Aaron Gruen, who died of lymphoma just before he was to enter Yavneh Academy as a ninth-grader.

The Gruens are active financial supporters of Jewish education, focusing their support on schools that emphasize traditional Jewish learning but give equal weight to secular studies. Interest from the fund supports scholarships, teacher salaries, and continuing professional development to assist Yavneh’s teachers in staying abreast of current educational issues and teaching techniques.

To make a gift to the Aaron Zachary Gruen Endowment Fund, please contact Yavneh's Director of Development, Sandy Freling, at (214) 295-3500, or sfreiling@yavnehdallas.org.
