Chad Baruch, J.D., Head Coach/Athletic Director
Chad Baruch enters his fourteenth season at the helm of the Yavneh basketball program. He began his coaching career as assistant coach at De La Salle High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After a stint as assistant coach at Eastfield College, he became assistant coach and then head coach at the University of Dallas (UD), an NCAA Division III member institution. During his time at UD, the school posted its first winning record in the modern era and produced two All-Americans. During his time as head coach at Yavneh, Coach Baruch has compiled a career record of 246-138 while establishing Yavneh as one of the premier Dallas-area private school basketball programs. In 2006, Coach Baruch was one of four statewide finalists for the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Coach of the Year Award in the private school category. During Coach Baruch's tenure, Yavneh has won numerous games against 4A and 5A public schools, despite never having a total student population of more than 125 students.
A practicing attorney, Coach Baruch is a past member of the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors, former Chair of the State Bar of Texas Individual Rights and Responsibilities Section and of the State Bar of Texas Consumer and Commercial Law Section, and Course Director of the State Bar of Texas Advanced Consumer & Commercial Law Course and Bill of Rights Course.

Von McDade, Assistant Coach
Entering his third year as assistant coach, Von McDade brings a flash of the "big-time" to Yavneh. Coach McDade was an All-City player in Milwaukee before becoming a junior college and NCAA All-American. Playing at Oklahoma State University and the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, Coach McDade was the 2nd-leading scorer in the NCAA Division I basketball as a senior, avergaging 28 points per game. The New Jeresy Nets selected him with the 53rd overall pick on the 1991 NBA draf, and Coach McDade spent time playing with both the Nets and the Denver Nuggets. He later served as Assistant Basketball Coach at the University of Dallas.

Dr. Max Ribald, Assistant Coach
Dr. Max Ribald enters his tenth season as assistant coach. A native of Germany, Dr. Ribald grew up in Manhattan, where he was a standout high school basketball player. He played college basketball at Hunter College in New York. Two of his sons, Yanki and Itzy, played for the Yavneh Bulldogs. Dr. Ribald focuses on individual player development for the Bulldogs.

Zachary Pollack, Assistant Coach
Zachary Pollack enters his tenth season as assistant coach. Coach Pollack is a graduate of Syracuse University, where he worked in the Syracuse Sports Information Department. Coach Pollack focuses on individual player development for the Bulldogs. He is also a coach at the Five Star Basketball Camp in both Dallas and Pittsburgh.
