Applications for the 2011-2012 school year will be accepted beginning August 1, 2010.    Application forms are due no later than January 21, 2011.

If you prefer to fill out a hard copy of our application, you may request application and other materials here, download the application from the Admissions Downloads area at the top right of this page, or contact the Admissions Office. Mail your application and check payable to "Yavneh Academy" to the Office of Admissions.

Student Visits

Upon receipt of your application, the Admissions Office will schedule a date for the student applicant to visit Yavneh Academy.  Student visits should  be completed by May 2, 2011 .

Parent Visits

Once an application is received, the Admissions Office will contact the parent(s) or guardian(s) to schedule an appointment to meet with Mr. Don O’Quinn, Head of School. These meetings generally take 30 minutes to an hour depending upon whether a tour is requested. Parent visits should be completed by May 2, 2011.

Recommendations and Transcripts

The Student Profile form should be completed by the parent and submitted to Yavneh.  The Confidential School Report should be completed by the student’s current school and sent directly to Yavneh Academy. Transcripts and any standardized test results are also required for those students applying to Grades 9 - 12. To download recommendation and transcript release forms view the top right of this page, or you may contact the Admissions Office. All recommendations and transcripts should be delivered to Yavneh Academy within 30 days of submission of application.

Testing

Applicants to grade 9 are required to take the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam) admission test.  ISEE test dates and registration instructions are available online at www.iseetest.org .  The ISEE tests are given at Yavneh on Sunday mornings, Dec. 12, 2010,  Jan. 9, 2011, Feb. 6, 2011 and March 6, 2011.
