Dr. Tim Cloward has been at Yavneh Academy since 2000. He serves as assistant principal and social studies department chair. He received his B.A. in history and English, M.A. in literary studies, and Ph.D. in humanities from the University of Texas at Dallas.
A published poet, playwright, and literary critic, Dr. Cloward’s works include the 2002 book, Vile Things Precious, which was later performed as a stage play in Dallas, and several poetry compilations. Dr. Cloward has been honored for teaching excellence by the Texas Association of Accredited Private Schools and is an approved grader for the AP English Examination, which he has graded for each of the past five years.
